Following her myriad mishaps and subsequent backlash,Miley Cyrushas been under nonstop media scrutiny. However, Cyrus has a surprising defender &8212; country legendDolly Parton, who calls Cyrus her &8220;honorary goddaughter.&8221; Aww!

Although Parton thinks we should go a little easier on Cyrus, it seems as though she also thinks Cyrus should watch out for herself, too. Choosing her words carefully, Parton said of the &8216;Can&8217;t Be Tamed&8217; singer, &8220;She should keep an eye on things and make wise decisions.&8221;
